Ruth Claussen passed away January 26, 2012. She received the Hoosier Award in 1993 and was Past Bethel Guardian of Bethels 44 and 54. Visitation and funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2012 from 10 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home located at 104 E. Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, Indiana., 46383, phone: 219-462-0535. Interment to follow funeral service the Chapel at Graceland Cemetery, 1505 E. Morthland Dr., Valparaiso. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Ruth Claussen to Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 99 S. County Line Rd., Crown Point, IN 46307 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
