From Lynn Cooper, AGG

Kathy Cooper, Grand 5th Messenger, has not been feeling well for the last couple of weeks. She has had problems eating and keeping things down. Today she was just totally exhausted and was feeling pain in her lungs. After dinner this evening we took her to the emergency room at Riverview Hospital. She has an irregular heart beat with a heart rate bouncing between 90 and 150. They did a CT Scan to check for blood clots and found none. She will see a cardiologist in the morning to determine further testing. She is in room 3308, Riverview Hospital, Noblesville, IN.

10/13/10 - UPDATE
Kathy is in Riverview Hospital in Noblesville with an irregular heartbeat. The condition is A. Fib with the biggest complication being that she could send a blood clot to her brain which could cause her to stroke. They are controlling her heart rate and will be putting her on blood thinners today. She may come home today or within the next few days. She is in room 3308 and her cell is (260) 710-5087. She can have visitors.
